Boardrider Trunk
The Boardrider Trunk is based on an early boardshort style from the 1960s.Ā The colorway is inspired by a pair of trunks thatĀ Miki DoraĀ wore in TheĀ Endless Summer (see the inspiration below). The trunk design is very true to its originsĀ and borrows someĀ good ideas from theĀ last 60 years.Ā Like the originals, theĀ trunkĀ is made of mostly cotton but is also blended with some nylon and elastic to make for quicker dryingĀ and better stretch. The button pocket closure and white contrasting trimĀ are iconic details of 60s trunks.Ā
TheĀ Boardrider Trunk is a homage to a time when boardshortsĀ were shorter, classier, and so much more groovy. These are yourĀ grandpa'sĀ trunks!
